Millennium Martial Arts one of he largest martial arts schools in Phoenix (3,000 sq. ft.), was established in Peoria, AZ in 1983 as AZ Fighting Arts Federation where it continues to serve the community to this day.
We have a huge training floor (over 2,500 sq. ft.) equipped for martial arts, fitness, women's self defense, and krav maga.
We are the ONLY officaial karate school in Phoenix authorized to teach the Chuck Norris System of Karate -(aka Chun Kuk Do (The Universal Way)... founded by the Grand Master Chuck Norris!
Our instructors are certifedin one or more disciplines: black belts in the Chuck Norris System; two Krav Maga federations; Kickbox FITness, Defensive Tactics, and/or CDT Personal Protection Training.
When considering martial arts for yourself or a child, longevity and stability are critical factors.
Confucius is credited with saying, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." When evaluating any martial arts school the first step is to schedule a FREE introductory class. This will allow you to evaluate the program, the instruction, and the facilities to ensure that they meet your needs and standards.
If you were looking for a doctor for your family or day care for your child would you just call around and choose the cheapest? I doubt it. You’d go and check them out personally and choose the one that best met your needs. The same level of scrutiny should be applied to choosing a martial arts school.
Many people ask when is the best age to start martial arts training. The answer is any age, the earlier the better! Internationally recognized sociologist Morris Massey (http://changingminds.org/explanations/values/values_development.htm) teaches that a child is developing their values from parents and teachers up through age 13. After age 13 they are strongly influenced by their peers.
So it stands to reason that the earlier we can build a foundation and instill strong values and character the more prepared they will be to resist negative influences when they are older.
Our programs are designed to be age and developmentally appropriate, meaning that the training is designed to be challenging, not too easy, yet not too hard, for each student regardless of age.
